In my screenshot you will see that the first field (Applicant's Full Legal Name) has been adjusted for field size, field height, and font size. I don't want to recreate hundreds of form fields! The problem is that it created all those fields with the default setting of text size=auto, which produces user text (in the form fields) that is garishly too large. The Fonts options under "Edit" menu is for changing the the fonts options for the text objects in the PDF documents, not for the fonts options in Form Fields. It’s one of my favorite Mac apps.Currently if we want to adjust font size in Form field, we'll have to open the Properties of the Text Field, then go to Appearance to change. Glad you know about the secret powers of Preview. Even more useful, you also just set the new default as Preview remembers the last font size you specified, so next time it’ll be 12pt Helvetica, or whatever you specified. Just choose a smaller font size and it’ll clean up that doc in no time:
